Three kinds of transition. One way of working.

We don't sell hourly hours or a fixed playbook. Every engagement starts with the same question: what has to be true about this business in twelve months, and what's standing in the way right now?

Growth transitions

For businesses that have outgrown the systems they started with — a second location, a third shift, a jump in order volume — but haven't yet outgrown the owner's ability to keep it all in their head.

What we look at

Capacity and throughput, pricing and margin by product or job, hiring and delegation, and the reporting you need to see problems before they cost you money.

What changes

You get a written operating plan, a set of numbers you actually check every week, and fewer decisions that only you can make.

Ownership transitions

For owners bringing in a partner, planning an exit, or handing the business to the next generation. The business has to be able to stand on its own numbers, not on the owner's relationships and memory.

What we look at

Clean financials, documented processes, valuation-ready reporting, and a realistic timeline for the handoff.

What changes

A business a buyer, partner, or successor can actually evaluate — and a plan that doesn't leave the owner exposed halfway through.

Operational transitions

For businesses stuck at a ceiling they can't quite name — margins that don't move, a schedule that never settles, inventory that's always wrong.

What we look at

Where time and money actually go versus where you think they go, and the two or three constraints doing most of the damage.

What changes

A short list of fixes, in order, with the ones that pay for the engagement done first.

How an engagement runs

Every engagement is scoped after the first call — there's no fixed package, because a 12-person machine shop and a two-location restaurant group need different things.

01

Diagnostic

We spend time in the business — the floor, the books, the calendar — before proposing anything. Usually one to two weeks.

02

Plan

A short written plan: what to change, in what order, and what it should do to the numbers. No hundred-page deck.

03

Implementation

We work alongside you and your team to put changes in place — not hand off a report and disappear.

04

Handoff

The goal is a business that runs the new way without us. We build the habits and reporting that make that stick.

Not sure which of these fits?

That's normal — most owners aren't. Tell us what's going on and we'll tell you honestly if we can help.
